Carry on, seguir

El verbo ‘carry‘ significa literalmente ‘llevar’, ‘transportar’

Si se le adjunta la preposición ‘on‘, asume, en cambio, el significado de ‘seguir‘. Por ejemplo, seguir una conversación, un juego, etc.

Please, carry on. I didn’t mean to interrupt you.
