Los pronombres posesivos ingleses (no confundirlos con los adjetivos posesivos) sustituyen a los sustantivos.
Son pronombres “posesivos” porque se refieren a la posesión personal de alguna cosa. Los pronombres posesivos ingleses son:
mine;
yours;
his;
hers;
its;
ours;
yours;
theirs.
ejemplos: Mi camiseta es rosada y la tuya es verde, My T-shirt is red and yours is green. Mi bolígrafo no escribe muy bien, el suyo sí, My pen doesn’t write very well, whereas his / hers does.
