duck out, echarse para atrás

El verbo “to duck out” significa “to avoid doing something you agreed to do” (evitar hacer algo que acordaste hacer), o “echarse para atrás”.

You promised to help me. I need you, you can’t duck out!
Promestiste ayudarme. Te necesito, ¡no te peudes echar para atrás!
